Quality “queen-size” bed, with all (quality) bedding and accessories provided. The comfort of the bed-set and the sound of waves lapping on the shore will surely provide restful nights!

“Loft” Bedroom
One double-size and one single-size bed - quality bedding & accessories provided; night tables, dressers, & reading lamps. There are windows at each end for cross-ventilation and a supplemental fan. A privacy curtain can be drawn, however when in bed, you cannot be seen from the open rooms below. It’s also a perfect “mini-get-away” for reading or a mid-day snooze.
Bathroom
3-piece bathroom with a shower – no tub. Quality mat, towels, face cloths. Toilet paper, kleenex, soap, shampoo, etc., are provided.

Fully equipped open kitchen with a view to the lake and decks. Full size fridge & stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, 10-cup drip coffee machine, pots, pans, glasses, dinnerware, cutlery, kitchen gadgets including, sharp knives, BBQ utensils, tea&hand towels, dish cloths, coffee filters, paper towels, all soaps & misc cleansers etc., are provided

Adequately spacious with side-by-side window and patio door facing the lake-front & deck. Fully furnished and decorated: two 2-seater couches, 1 three seater which is a (double-size) hide-away bed - bedding provided; reading lamps; antique wood stove – wood provided; cottagey dining table & chairs; etc

Living Room |
Decks & Dock 2 large (south & east facing) connecting decks overlooking the lake with a 3’5m X 3.5m (10’ X 10’) sun canopy. BBQ - propane provided; outside dining table including straight-back chairs. 2 comfortable lounge chairs and enough adirondack chairs for the deck, shore front, & relaxing on the “big flat rock”. LS(2) has it’s own 8’ X 16’ dock with an excellent quality heavy duty swim ladder.

Drinking Water
All indoor water is either from a 350ft deep well, or the lake, or blended from both. It passes through elaborate sediment and charcoal filtering systems, a softener, after whcih it is purified via ultraviolet light. It
is tested safe to drink and, in our opinion, it tastes just fine. This system can be seen in the laundry room.
Heating
Electric baseboard heaters. Of course, there is the living room wood stove but it is much more ornamental than heat efficient.
Cooling
No air conditioning. The cool breezes off the lake normally do not make summer heat unmanageable. There are 2 supplemental fans.
Telephone
Not long distance to Ottawa. Please use personal calling cards for long distance calls. Internet friendly for laptop users.
Laundry
Free access to quality Maytag Neptune washer & dryer, laundry tubs, iron and board. Soaps, softeners, stain removers, etc. provided. Consider returning home with your laundry finished!
Hospital
Buckingham Hospital is 37 KM away with medical emergency facilities. Small health clinic in Val-des-Bois. Telephone “911” for all emergencies.
Outside Shower
An outside, hotwater shower (inspired from an overseas tropical hotel) is located in the woods behind LS(1) and LS(2). It is large (enough for 2), modern, clean and eco friendly.
