Located in a picturesque mountain valley in the Ottawa/Gatineau Region, it is an easy 45 minutes drive from centre ville Gatineau, and 1 hour from Ottawa city centre, Canada’s National Capital. Very quiet and tranquil, about 60% of the shoreline is undeveloped. Uninhabited Papineau-Labelle Park is across the lake from LakeSide Cottages. 1. Cozy Cottage is a “traditional” Canadian cottage – the perfect balance between rustic and the necessary comforts and conveniences. It is barefoot clean and cozy. High season weekly prices start at CAD $1000.

2. Sahara-Sahel is an unforgettable, exotic, upscale, African-theme getaway – breath-taking both inside and outside. It is one of the nicest getaways in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. High Season weekly prices start at CAD $1150.

3. African Dream Catcher is simply Sahara-Sahel X 10. It rates a perfect“10” in exotic grandeur. Very likely, it is the nicest African theme cottage in all of Canada! High season weekly Prices start at CAD $3000.

We chose the “private & quiet” venue and there has never been any guest relations issues. Even after 17? years, the need has not arisen to charge a damage deposit.”
